I was thinking of picking up some aftermarket tail lights for the bronco since they got all faded and didnt look nice anymore. Well since I need to save up as much as I can to paint the f150 I decided I would try and clean them up. Check out the before pics I have a few boxes of rubbing compound so I gave it a shot. I started by cleaning them off then took a rag with the Parko 1250 medium compound and went to work on them. This stuff is made to work with a buffer but since I dont have one here I just used the rag. Went over them twice with the 1250 and finished them with the 2500 all in one glaze. Here are the after pics. Some side by sides to compare I'm gonna go over them again tomorrow so I can get the few spots I missed. They look a whole lot better now though!
Great job Jose! I have had pretty good luck with polishing up both head and tail lights in the past as well. Makes a huge difference.
