Basic stuff here, but I need a double-check. I decided to go with the Kenwood eXcelon amp to power my two JL 10w3v3-4 subs. The subs are SVC, so I am planning on wiring them in parallel, like this: If my math is right this gives: 1/(1/4+1/4) = 1/(2/4) = 4/2 = 2 ohms The RMS power rating for my amp @ 2 ohms is 700W x 1 ch. Since I have two subs I just divide the total power, right? So I'll be sending each sub 350W? I know they can handle more than that, but I think it will be about right based on JLs own diagram: Is my math right here? Anything off? I know I could send them even more but I think 350W to each will be fine for now. If I'm unhappy with them, I'll upgrade.
