The government has halted the Cash for Clunkers program... due to poor management! How funny is that? The government screwing something up? Who would believe it?

And they want to FIX health care. Heaven help us if that ever happens.

One company I deal with now has 288 cars on hold. Wonder WTF is going to happen to them? All of the new cars that were purchased have already been delivered AND contracted.

Well, in all fairness, from everything I have read, it's really more because Americans have been using the F out of it and now there's a fear that the money has already run out. It's not being stopped solely because of poor management.

I've read that all deals that have been executed will be covered.

Not altogether true. All of the dealers I do business with daily have had a terrible time getting any hard information from the Government about how to comply with the program. Everybody has been running in different directions because the program has been so poorly implemented that even the people in "charge" had no answers. I'd call that poor management. I agree 100% that it isn't the sole reason for it being pulled.

You are correct that the program was not funded properly and had no chance of survival.
