Can-Am Maverick X3 Flip Windshield

Alright, tell me I’m not the only one who’s considered doing something questionable… I picked up what’s supposed to be a Can-Am Maverick X3 Flip windshield, but the guy I got it from only “thinks” it came off an X3—no hardware, no markings, just pure confidence.
Before I start zip-tying brackets and hoping for the best, has anyone ever tried mounting a mystery Can-Am Maverick X3 flip windshield and actually had it work? As in: flips open, flips closed, and doesn’t launch itself into the woods on the first bump?
I’m only looking for questionable success stories here.
