My buddies 2007 Ford Super Duty burnt to the ground last week.

He said that he was driving and hit a pot hole(how big I don't know) after he hit it all the gauges and door chimes etc went haywire. He pulled over and shut the truck off.About 30 second's after that smoke started rolling out from the dashboard. He jumped out and the rest is history. The pic's above are the end result. No word yet on the cause of this..

Any Guess's? :dunno:

The guy has NO luck with Ford's.The 2nd last one he had a tree fell on it crushing the cab.The insurance co said they could FIX it to avoid writing it off. This one he hit a deer about 6 months ago.(5000.00) damage.now this.

I see a LOT of insurance salvage vehicles at auction. You'd be amazed how many are burnt to the ground. I'm sure a large percentage of them are not accidental. In fact I've seen a bunch that had their claims denied as fraud. They are pretty good at determining the cause of most blazes. If somebody tosses gasoline on their interior and lights it, there are trace elements that can be detected by the right tests... Once they detect accelerants in the interior, the game is over.
