Bleeding Brakes

Is there a write up or anything that can show me how to bleed my brakes. I am going to change my brake pads as soon as i get a chance i want to bleed the brake fluid too....(which brand fluid should I use?)

So does anybody know where I can find a write up or video??

As long as you are just changing pads, you shouldn't need to bleed them. Are you concerned you have air in the lines now?

I just thought i would because it has been 63,000 on the truck and want the truck to be taken care of

Do I really need to change the fluid? When I put it into gear the brakes creep forward slightly???

It's a good idea to flush the fluid for maintanance. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, making it less effective and corrosive.

As a maintenance procedure, sure, go for it. Like Jim said, it doesn't hurt to change it.

I just thought you were asking about bleeding them after a pad change, which isn't necessary usually.
