I am going to set up an appointment for December to get my truck painted with Line-X.

Should I get it sprayed in black or blue (match) my truck.

Black will be 500
Blue is 1150

I am going to have a cover on the truck so I don't think it would make a difference on the color.

Would it add value to my truck if the color matched my truck.

Thanks!

Personal opinion :

I see no point in paying more than twice as much for a "color matched" Line-X that probably won't exactly match anyway... and even if it does match originally, it probably won't stay that way. Black would be the cheaper and safer bet.

Yes that is what I was thinking too and worried about.

Thanks voice of reason. At least you are good for one thing.

Yep I'd go with black. Friend did color match and it kinda faded after awhile. My dad has black and still looks new.

Only colour match if you're spraying the body panels... The box sees too much abuse for colour matching to last/be worth it.
