Truck looks really good, motor not so good. I like your plan though, should be even better when you get it fixed.
plans somewhat changed, theres something im determined to do and thats hit 10.9x with the stock shortblock NA, i talked to a few people today and my main guy told me something i liked, its gonna cosist of a new cam BUT i think it still can happen.. dont get me wrong this wont rule out the 408 as its in the making, just wont be planted anytime soon, i'll have my builder start on it this weekend and keep it on hold until i am ready basically this is all gonna be determined on the outcome of the head if it can be repaired and at what cost.
imo? i personally think the sparkplug took out the valve, or better yet if you see the chip that is missing off the spark plug bung i personally think thats what took it out, nothing is wrong with any of the pistons specially the #1 piston. i ran a 150 shot, i did make a mistake by hot lapping it cause a friend called me out, which i didnt realise until after the race, a 12 sec car against a 10 sec truck, if i would have known i would have never sprayed lol.. my truck can handle back to back and more NA runs the mistakes i made 1. running back to back 2.not having 100% race fuel 3. not having the proper plugs since my tune is soooo aggressive i run alot of timing for NA and nitrous we make up the difference with race gas and cold plugs
