I'm coming around to the idea of a bed cover for the truck. We like taking the truck on road trips almost as much as the X5 so I wouldn't mind some dry storage in the bed if needed. I'm probably going to get a TruXedo Lo Pro QT but I'd like to hear if there are any other options I should consider. Let's here some options!

I love my TruXedo lo pro. I would highly recommend it.

If I were buying today it would either be a lo pro or their deuce. Matt (my tech) had one on his gmc and I really liked it.

I had a soft cover before I had my shell. I would not buy one again. Zero actual security and not all that weatherproof. It did look nice.

When I looked at the Deuce, I just saw the picture of it folding so I assumed it couldn't be rolled. I just gave it another look & realized that it can be rolled up as well. Rolling it up is one of the features I want. It might be in the running.

In a heavy rain, how much water usually gets in?

Yeah I can imagine they wouldn't offer much security but I'm not concerned with that. I just want something I can throw on the truck when traveling instead of messing with a tarp.

In a heavy rain you will get a little bit in on the corners. Not a lot.

I also have bed rail caps, so my stake holes are covered. I can't remember if you do or not??

Yeah, the deuce rolls up and fits very similar to the Lo Pro.

I also just noticed their tool box system. I may be checking with :bbp: about that soon.
