ATS 545RFE Transmission

Anyone have any experience with this transmission?

Friend of mine his truck has 80K on it.. and after he gets back from the oil rigs.. we are doing a 426 swap into his truck.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with this certain trans from ATS!

Not this one, but we have done some ATS 1000s behind Dmaxs and 8.1s. I had the ATS pump upgrade in my 1000 in my '04.

Good stuff, we never had anyone bring one back.

Ok, cool. Yeah there isnt alot of performance options as far as transmissions go for hemi's.... so been searching around!

Sharadon valve body would help your hemi. They are expensive but you get a lot back for your core.

A stage 2 would be nice but I know people with stage 3's on their daily drivers.

the stage 2 gets a lot of compliments with people that tow a lot. The stage 3 is a hit with single cabs and trucks that see the track every weekend.

Right on. Yeah I'll have to see where he wants to go with it. Money isnt an object.. Oil rigs pay good. haha.
