As for the throttle body spacer, People have said they work, others say they do not work. IMO, if Keith Wilson uses them on his intake set-ups, they must work. I have one on my truck and when the motor was built, my motor builder insisted on putting it back on. Being as he builds some of the fastest race motors on the east coast outside of NASCAR, I trust his judgment.
They have been proven again and again not to work on our LS series engines. They may work very well on carbed setups but not on LS series engines.
I did not know that about the LS stuff. I have a vortec style myself. non-carb. I have not kept up much with the LS stuff, it is still expensive to build and have not had a lot of experience with it.
