Looks good! Those exact Sunpro gauges have been around forever :lol: I helped a bud put some in his Camaro in the mid 80s, and I temporarily installed some in my Chevelle in the early 90s when I put the new engine in.

Thanks,they're good gauges at a reasonable price :thumbs: Auto Meter & Stewart Warner were just too much $.

Good oil pressure on the 454... :thumbs:

It's always had good pressure,I'll see what it's like today after driving it and when it's idling....should be in the high 30s at idle.With oil pressure like that this engine should go a long time

After driving it around for a few days I see the oil pressure is at 25-30psi at idle,when driving it's 55+.Also made a couple of changes...removed the aux.fan sending sensor and installed the dash temp. gauge sensor...so I now have that working as well as the new temp. gauge,just like to compare the two when driving.I then connected the aux. fan to a manual switch so I can turn it on at will.I also lowered the idle a little as I thought it was idling a little high...
