Adding Aftermarket Gauges

If you have a new coolant sensor that came with the guages, I would try to mount in in one of the water jackets. :dunno:

You said your brother connected his to a threaded hole in the intake.....think I found it :thumbs: the fittings should be easy to find.Now I just gotta get the gauge set...

Putting the sending unit in the block or head would give a more accurate reading.

Can you tell it's been many years since I've installed a gauge set? :lol: I did a few back in the day :jester:

Yeah, I can't remember if the sensor threaded right in or if he had to get a thread adapter or anything. :dunno: This was on a 82 Monte with a small block 350.

I'll see what the new gauges have in the package and go from there...I'm looking at Sun Pro....Auto Meter are just too much money...don't see Stewart Warner much..those are the ones I used way back when.
