I figured I would make 1 thread on the Mustang rather that 1 every time we go racing. I will keep updates here. Friday we found that the turbo was hurt (it ingested something and took the tips off the impeller) but we went to the track anyway. Here is a video of us running a good friend of ours and his 427 nitrous gulping monster. [YT]NklqxrpNx2w[/YT]
Last time on the Dyno through a bad convertor it was only like 774 to the ground. Using the weight/time calculators its between 850-950 to the ground now, so about 1000 at the crank.
Its run a best of 8.89 with a 1.24 60' at 153 mph. There is alot left in it, but gonna have to wait for the damaged turbo to be fixed. Its a 331 built by Proline with a single 76mm turbo, Thinking hard of going to a Billet wheel or an 80 mm Either one should add about 100 hp
