OK guys, new here, so I swapped in a 350, that I built, I have built 100s of 7.3l powerstrokes, I have built 2 350s. The first one had high oil pressure. Now, with that said, a guy tore apart my engine cuz he claimed it needed rebuilding, now, my engine was rebuilt about 20k miles ago, the machine shop agreed, fresh hash marks on cyl. walls. Sooo, I had the machinist install new cam bearings, I did EVERYTHING ELSE. I primed engine with drill, and assembled, then I fired up engine for break in, 0 psi @ idle, at bout 2500 rpm I got 25psi, falls off as soon as I let off throttle. Now, I pulled my new HV pump off, put old pump back on -good pump- same results. Now I'm not the best, but I'm damn good at my job. I have checked and rechecked, the bottom end is not taking damage, but I really don't think the cam bearings were installed correctly, he installed at a different clocking than what was in before, old bearings @ 6, he pit them between 2&4. Hope this gives enough info for someone to help me figure out how come I'm not building oil pressure. Thank you.

Not sure what's going on, but I'll give your thread a bump in hopes of getting it some attention. If a guy named John pops on here, his username is "Draenor." I'd be willing to bet he'll be able to help you out.
Oh, and :welcome: to the forum.

There is a galley plug at the rear main, I hope it was put back in when the engine block was cleaned for the rebuild
