My old 88 F150 had a 300ci inline 6. It was a glorious motor. If a common gas engine can replicate a diesel better I'll give it a high 5. Mad low RPM torque and very low power band. Pure tractor engine.

That's some crazy whine. I assume the camera was just really good at picking it up... either that or the boys forgot to fill the trans with lube. I've heard race boxes whine, but that's just crazy.

I' love it. I had a couple of old Datsun Z cars and a few Jeeps with inline sixes. Alan's M3 has an inline six. Sweet engines.
