15K mile maintenance...almost

So, I went to the shop, put ol' Blue on the lift and prepared to do my 15K mile maintenance:

-Mobil 1 75w90 for both diffs - DONE! got the factory crap out of there.

-Castrol/Allison Transynd Sythetic ATF - NOT DONE see below

-Valvoline SynPower 5w30 and Mobil 1 filter - NOT DONE see below

Looks like I have a leak at the rear again, so the trans will likely be coming out and I am not wasting all this high dollar fluid.

Bummer, off to the dealer tomorrow!

I had the CPS leak, like most of us with the new trucks, and it looked almost like the leak this time. I think it is the rear main this time, though.

I have a pretty cool dealer, like I had told you about. They will give me a Fleetanater tomorrow, and get it handled.

I am only bummed because I wanted to get all this done, but oh well.

Look up at the starter bolts. If there is oil on them, it's the CPS o-ring.

Look up at the starter bolts. If there is oil on them, it's the CPS o-ring.

What is a CPS? Crankshaft Position Sensor??? I would hope it's not the rear main. Early Fords are notorious for those things and they were a PITA to fix.
