ya, the reason i was always told not to is because there is no chance for the tires to slip so when they all grab at the same speed is can cause some pretty nasty damage to your truck. but i guess it should be fine driving straight at low speed? i know you should never turn while in 4wd and on...

so, I've always been told that you should never drive your truck with 4wd engaged while on a hard surface such as cement/pavement when your tires get allot of traction. i just thought that you guys could confirm or deny this for me since I've seen people in climb walls and cement structures...

oh wow i didnt even see those, thanks everyone! the tranny shop that did my transfer case is really flakey so im going with a local mechanic to do my front axle on wed. i should only use my 4wd about once till then so im praying it will hold up. :fingersx:
