Nah mine doesnt have torsion bars, i think ford trucks took those on in 97
not sure if spindle lifts work for 4x4.
im not going too big of loads, maybe occasionally. i just dont want a reverse rake goin on with the quad in the back or a trailer attached. ive tried searching for 3/4 ton springs...
2 inch lift, its leveled and im trying to keep it level while raising it just a little. More capacity in the back, and lift the front to match. Its a 1992 f-150 5.0 4x4 extended cab on 31's
I've thought of that but i dont really like body lifts, the gaps and it looks cheap. But if i keep it short it may be ok.
I was also wanting to get maybe aal's in the back, or f250 springs or something so it sits higher with a little more weight capability
Are you going to install the muffler? save some good cash that way.
and there will be enough cash flow to get the sub as well.
Maybe get the sub while you have the extra cash, it would be easier to scrape the cash together for a muffler than a sub and amp.
SPEND! SPEND! SPEND!...
So I've already leveled my truck (2" front) with coil blocks and 2" drop brackets.
I would like to lift it 2 more inches with AAL's and keep it level. this would make it 2 in back and four up front. I feel like i'd have to remove the level, then install the lift? Can i leave the drop brakets...
My only beef with mine is closing it. The lid doesnt weigh enough so sometimes the other side doesnt latch. Its a tractor supply on as well. Later i might TIG weld on some aluminum weights or something. If i get bored i may eventually try to rig up electric locks for it. And lights in it, and...
I have a very similar CB, any idea what the output wattage is of the PA? I found a 100watt speaker at pick and pull today, just wondering if the CB will work very well with it. Thanks
What if it was painted like those rims suggested? The surface with the holes and rivets was black and the center and outer portion are left original?
I'd like to keep it within the FIRMAMENT of stock, but custom at the same time. that work?
Well, I'm curious as to what you think my truck would look like with, yes, the black rims. or at least, some sort of black accents somehow. (stock rims painted black, or accented with black) Any ideas?
Those wheels painted black surprisingly do a lot for that truck. I like it!
One of the pictures had photoshopped headlights, i was going to suggest that. makes it look soo clean.
and maybe a level..not sure how it'd look on a Rcab, Lbed but i dont care for the suspension rake too much...
Is it me or does it feel like they're losing the whole truck look? The current Chevys are fine, but some of the newest fords and this concept chevy look like a soccer-mom sporty urban never-going-to-be-used-as-a-truck, truck.
filled both tanks...while costco had a pump computer meltdown when i swipped my card. had to go somewhere else.
TR-3's the drivers side... too lazy to do passenger side till tomorrow.
Drove the 1931 Model A though. 200 CI engine, 40 HP. its a boss car
what if youre driving, say, a monster truck? wouldnt the wheels just push it down to the ground and roll over it? HA! punching holes in their logic...
They need to make one thats just one big sheet, and says "FINISH" on it. HAHAHA :rollin:
