Yeah, The iron block 5.3 is definently weak. Not proven at all, either.
I could give a shit if a 4 cylinder Ranger could "drag my ass around", my truck does what I need it to do, and does it well. I hope your Ecoboost does the same fWONking thing.
Holy shit! You've got me by a long shot. Those are rough. :D
My sons buddies all have trucks or lifted Blazers. They are those redneck kids at the nice school that terrorize the parking lot and park in 4 spots like its a car show everyday.
:rollin:
He has been obsessed with trucks for as long as I can remember. He about shit himself when we shook the previous owners hand and handed him the check. Normally he likes the subtle, clean mods but I have a feeling this thing will have some meats and a lift soon. :dunno:
:rollin:
Yeah, I cranked my truck and drove it for about three days. Handled like a big old Caddy, floating around. don't like it. :D
I would guess that as soon as he gets a job that thing will have a lift.
Vacuumed it.
Removed the front valence and license plate bracket from the 400. Sanded the Bowtie, wiper arms and tailgate handle to get some paint on them in the next few days. Color matching the bowtie and just flat black on the arms and handles.
Sorry, Needs a wash. Supposed to rain all...
I just had the oil pressure sensor replaced on my truck this Monday. My gauge was showing a solid 80 and maxed out. It turned out to be a bad sensor. $180 to replace it. :dunno:
