Agreed I have yet to hear a "good" sounding diesel powered vehicle. The only thing you hear is an ungodly loud and awful sounding engine. :dunno:

Give the guys at Power Hungry Performance or VMP a call. They both offer great custom tunes for the F-series trucks, but wait times might be a bit on the long side.

I think it will go the way of the Ford 4.4 diesel. It looks good on paper and tons of people will buy it, but I just don't think it will be mass produced.

Got it back, and it's pretty much perfect. I'll just chalk the first try up to it being so close to Thanksgiving that they got a little sloppy.

I tried to sweet talk them into ordering a bumper with foglights, but they wouldn't budge. They apparently order parts according to the VIN number and aren't allowed to deviate. At least I tried. I'm just glad I got meh baby back!

Got in a wreck on Nov 2nd, ended up totaling the other car. My bumper, bumper cover, and lower valance had to to be replace. The grille and surround just got repainted. Now for pics! And all fixed up today!

MPG's will drop slightly, but it will be slightly better on acceleration. I would recommend that you get a master install kit that has the bearings.

Impressive, but I will not own a V6 ever again. Now if they were to twin turbo a new 5.0, I would be much more interested.

Why are they dropping the name? That was probably the coolest name in car service.

A simple muffler swap can't drop your RPM's like that. He would have had to install a taller gear set when you weren't looking for it to drop that much. Glad you enjoy it. :tmc:

Maybe the 0-60 test on the Gryphon isn't that accurate. I calibrated everything and my speedo is only off by like 2 MPH high. What is everyone using to measure their 0-60 times?

It's been installed for over a week. The only thing in those boxes now is old stock parts.

How are you timing it? I've been using my Gryphon, which I'm also skeptical if it did anything in terms of performance because there is still throttle lag.

Update: Finally broke down and have been shaking down my truck. I have not been impressed generally. I doesn't take as much effort for the truck to get up to cruising speed, but 0-60 time have remained more or less the same. Best time I managed to strain out was a 7.9, it used to be around 8.5...

I'm not sure what I drive. I'm pretty sure it rhymes with Shmored. :lol:

I say sell it. No point in owning a car that never gets driven.
