Yep, the location of the access to the lights is insane. I'm just happy the new assembly came with fresh bulbs so hopefully it will be at least another 70k miles before I have to go in there again. :facepalm:

It ended up being a lot easier than I expected before hand. I originally thought I was going to have to take the whole bumper and lower fascia off to get to it.

About a week ago, my wife had a chunk of ice fly off a box truck and bust up the driver's side headlight on her acadia. The new part finally showed up yesterday, and I changed it out today: The damage: fix in progress: All done:

nice looking ride. I don't care for the hood though. I don't know why the aftermarket decided every single damn GM vehicle needed to have WS-6 nostrils. Hell, I wish the WS-6 didn't have the nostrils.

they might have cut one for 2015...or i might have gotten a freebie thrown in to due to 25 year history with the dealership and a close friend in the service department...not that it matters since I only got three in before it ran out anyway :)

Yep, with the old job it was twice a week for sure. The old commute was 90 miles round trip.

Speaking of price and getting back on topic.... $42k for a loaded Focus RS is BATSHIT INSANE. It's still a Focus. Will be worth about $15k in 3 years.

you don't have to go to $150k for refinement. There's plenty of refinement in the 55-65K S4 to kick US muscle cars butts as far as build quality and refinement. And yes, I've shopped most of them. Not the GT350R yet. I get the difference between a raw power experience and a luxury brand...

Yeah, but it's the Focus the US has been denied for 3 generations of the car. the Eurospec first-gen Focus RS was a badass little hatch. ....and this one will destroy it. Regarding a drag race with the vette, it would probably be close. The Focus would absolutely leave the vette out of the hole...

Agreed. The front bumper should be body color. looks clean otherwise...hard to tell from pics though.

I would prefer an LS swap and a modified hood too, but I take it from the guy's attitude re: mixing chevy/ford/mopar parts that he did it hillbilly style on purpose to **** with people, and I like that. :)
