I always use some type of barrier glove when using hard chemicals. I guess the whole MSDS stuff and OcHealth was just ingrained in me. Normal greases, petrol, diesel, and oils that we may run across fixing our trucks may not call for too much protection. But any substance can be caustic...

Fixed the tire rack on the rear gate. I bent it way out of proportion when we got slid off the mountain road last week. And I replaced a coolant line that was cracked and dripping.

Went and picked up some country ribs with it.

Filled it full of groceries. Then took the tire rack off the back gate to see if I could fix where I bumped it the other day. It's bent off kilter like crazy. I think I need a new one.

I've never de-badged. Just taken off a few stickers and the like. Didn't know there was that much sealant under those things. We used wintergreen (type of a brake free) and heat guns for the sealing compounds and firewall sealant.

Well, as far as the price is concerned, you will be better off paying for a good set. After years of busting #2 and #3 apex tips I say buy the good ones.
