this is why people complain that my truck is too loud: so the next thing I plan to do is make a straight cross member to replace this one, the hump is big enough to fit one small pipe under it, with a straight one I'll have room for two larger pipes between the body and the cross member

well over the weekend I got a rear mount on the cats so they aren't sitting on the trans crossmember anymore, and got my rear fog lights working again so I can see when I'm trying to back up at night, this week I hope to make some head way on getting some mufflers on it

not yet, because I want to have the intake and exhaust more finalized first, that way the data it records will be accurate, just getting an actual intake built it already runs 100% better

well its been quite a while since I updated, the truck has mostly been sitting and I haven't worked on it much due to the colder weather, anyways on to my update: I don't think I ever took a picture of it but this was my basic intake setup, not shown is the MAF which I just used a silicone...

Thats a good little motor, not the most powerful but very reliable and decent on gas, I've had two of them, electric fans are a popular mod for them, my 2wd definitely picked up power when I installed a flex-a-lite black magic fan, lots of guys use an electric fan and controller from older ford...

It would be cool but I just don't like 2wd trucks, there are some really cool lowered ones out there but I just don't like driving them, I'd rather have my 4x4 with a nasty V8 and have a car as well

Small update: -started pricing new brakes, looks like about $400 for ATE slotted rotors and Hawk LTS pads -also started looking up parts to build a cold air intake, but I need a mass air meter calibrated for 30 lb injectors first -I plan to order an SCT XCal III tuner from Henson Performance...

Well I don't know exactly what this storm has in store for us, but I put the front driveshaft back in just in case, it will light up for tires and get sideways in the dirt now, fun times!
