Why just last month in Nigeria the government tried to more than double gasoline prices and it lead to rioting in the streets and an 8 day general strike. It went from $1.51 per gallon to $3.35 per gallon overnight. The government finally backed down a little though, so the price is...
Mine has twin 20's, and gets about 11.5, so I have a very slight inkling of the pain he must feel at the pumps.
The most I've ever paid for diesel was the day I bought the truck in '08. I flew down to Ft. Lauderdale to pick it up on July 29th, just when diesel prices there hit $5.25 a gallon...
Both.
Same thing with diesel. In the summer they say the price is high because they're not producing as much fuel oil as in the winter, because demand for heating oil is low. In the winter they say the price is high because most of the production is going to heating oil...
What? None of you saw this coming? :dunno:
When have fuel prices ever gone down significantly? If any kind of "crisis" hits, and fuel goes up $1.00, when the crises passes it never goes back down that same $1.00. It might go down 25 or even 50 cents, but never the same amount it went up...
No, you were wrong for thinking you were wrong, and if you'd have been right then you'd still have been wrong because you would have been right thinking that you were wrong. So, no matter how you put it, you're wrong.
My ex-wife taught me that logic. :D2
Neither one of those should be enough to kill a battery. You should be able to leave 'em both on for several days and still start the car.
I've also had no luck with Delco batteries. The two that came in my truck were both less than three years old when I got it, and would barely turn it...
If you have a Costco membership theirs are excellent. Made by Johnson Controls, same folks who make the Die Hard for Sears. I've got one in the wife's truck that's 6 years old and still going strong, and a pair in my truck that are 3 years old.
Re: Gauge cluster rebooting?
It might just be objecting to your choice of music though. :D2
Seriously though, I think the Daddy nailed it. Check connections and grounds.
Good choice. Of course, since you folks get so little practice, I imagine some rookie snowplow driver down there has probably already taken care of that for you.
I have a corded 1/2" Royobi that I really like, but it doesn't compare to my corded 1/2" Milwaukee.
And the Ridgid 10" compound miter is great. I like it well enough that I'm saving up for the 12" sliding compound miter. The portable 10" table saw is the bomb. I've done probably a hundred...
Re: What Brand Of Electric Drill Do You Perfer
I've not tried their drills, but I have a few of their nailers and two saws (table and a compound miter) and like those a lot.
Re: What Brand Of Electric Drill Do You Perfer
Bosch is good, I have two of 'em. But the ones that got the most use with my crews were the Ryobi's. When they eventually killed 'em replacing them didn't hurt as bad as replacing a DeWalt. Of course, anyone who killed one got the Harbor Freight...
Couldn't find anything with a Google search, but there's not much info to really go on either.
Normally, with a wreck like that and the roof compressed, I'd expect to see the roof peeled back for easier access and extrication. I've done enough of 'em myself in the past. Could be the victim(s)...
Motorcycle impact maybe? :dunno:
I still find the lack of extrication evidence peculiar if there was anyone inside, but a motorcycle impact might explain that along with the blood. We'll probably never know though.
Where was this anyway? Maybe I can pull up a news story on it.
