Yeah, my truck is pretty damn quiet...but that's what worries me. Sure you don't hear your pump much with all the belching and farting going on with what you do...but mine is a quiet little stock thing ;)
Damn straight. That was my dream rig back when I was racing around the country. I assume Ford's Diesel Excursions didn't sell shit. If they had, I assume GM would have jumped on that wagon.
At the current conversion rate, that's $581...that's a good deal....can you get a video of the sound from inside the cab? I keep looking at the AD for sound level because My kids will be riding in the back when we camp, i don't want to listen to them whining about listening to the lift pump :)
Nice rig! Don't sweat the Weathertechs. I've got the front ones from my 14 in my 16 and they're fine. I do think the quality is down a bit from the old days, but the GM-Trucks donkeys are just being drama queens as usual. The main gripe i have about the new WTs is they seem slicker than the old...
The Edge Insight CTS2 has can do both of those. Well, it has DPF pressure variance, which will indicate the a regen is happening. I have been toying with the idea of getting one even though I'm not tuned, just because more information is always good :)
Looky what I found...
Digital clinometer in the info pages on my truck. Doubt I'll ever wheel this truck hard enough to warrant using it, but thought it was neat that they included it. Not sure when they added that as my 2014 didn't have it...
...and the paranoid side of my brain...
for the K2 platform, the 14-15 1500s and 15-17 2500s, I definitely prefer the GMC. The new 1500 update though is starting to look too busy to me...not sure which way i'd go if i were looking at the current 1500s.
