I run the longer filters on ours, I run Wix filters, so the long one is the 57045 if you want a part number to cross reference.

We've had two...a 2009 SLT-2 and 2012 Denali. We still have the Denali and have no issues with it...running strong at 80K miles. Only reason we got rid of the '09 was a 0% financing situation that allowed us to reset the odometer. The major issue is the timing chain...there was a recall on them...
