I used to not like side-cars so much, but they're not bad for their purpose. I'd still rather ride a motorcycle with side-car than a hybrid car anyways...
It looks as poor as a Brazilian-made Hyundai subcompact :chipper:
That was the first thing that came thru my mind when I saw the new Camry pics :ohnoes:
Altough in America the Camry is kinda bread-and-butter, in other markets a car at its size is considered luxury, but Toyota has no excuse...
The only inline-6 engine fitted to the Defender I can remember was a DOHC 2.8L from BMW only in a few ones assembled in South Africa after the V8 was phased out. The Defender is currently available only with a 4-cyl Diesel, but there is no automatic transmission not even as a premium option...
Altough this one has a smaller engine, it's kinda weird that it has a more sophisticated engine than the Silverado since a compact/midsize truck is theorically intended to be cheaper.
Corn is not a good feedstock for ethanol, but other ones such as sugarcane, eucalyptus or sugar beet can be efficient enought to justify it. Biofuels are not really so bad, the worst problem is how the industry is regulated by the government.
As long as they don't make the car look like a Christmas tree, they're OK. But colored lights inside a car are nearly useless, they don't even help so much while reading a road map, for example.
