I read that they stuck with the old style because the rack & pinion wasn't strong enough. :dunno: When did GM get away from using torsion bars on 2wd? They're still used on 4wd right?

Question: Why are there different pumps for 2wd and 4wd? I'm sure that 4wd is harder to move because of the added resistance of the 4wd components.

Nope. It's either Z71/Silverado/green truck, or ZR2/S10/red truck.

Last night, one station went down to $3.18 while everyone else went up to $3.24. :dunno: (was $3.19)

Drove it. Filled it up (16.3mpg).

Yesterday it dropped from $3.19 to $3.13 in a town 30min north of me in MN. We'll see what we go to here....

Ouch! Just under 24gal. I've only been putting 20gal in the Z71 and 15-16gal in the ZR2. Found out that the DIC goes to "low" on the RANGE once it hits 40mi; also when the LOW FUEL light comes on.

Filled it up yesterday...then gas went down today. Just can't win. :nonod: Drove it, but couldn't have any fun in the snow since we barely got any at all and its all melting off the roads already. :(
