I would like to find an easy SWITCHED (ignition on) 12v+ source. The cluster only comes on when the key is in the RUN position so I was thinking that would be the easiest, but I've never seen a wiring diagram for the plug. Well, it's confirmed then by 2 people. Still seems really long to let...

I guess I didn't think the radio stayed on for 10min after turning the key off and not opening the door. Still a cool feature IMO. Any idea where I could get a wiring diagram/pin-out for the instrument cluster connector?

It has a cheap eBay intake with an open filter (talk about hot-air intake!). The tube from the "bonnet" to the MAF is longer than the OEM one. I either have to run the OEM rippled section with my Volant box or I can use the OEM to measure and cut the eBay pipe shorter (probably what I'll do)...

You have no idea how much money I'm laying out right now that he has to pay me back for! Add to the tires another $100 for tune-up parts (ignition coil, plugs, wires). The $800-850? It's for a set of 265/70R17 Cooper STT's for my Z71. The tires are usually $240 or something a piece.

I was just giving you crap, but good to know! Bought the tires. $365 all said and done for 4 tires. There's a $50 mail-in rebate. Add to that an alignment that's around $65. I made the appointment for the install for a week from tomorrow. Because of this, I had to take the tires with me home...
