Well I did drive one but it was my friend's 2012 Silverado.

I am going to test drive one this weekend. If I can drive my dad's suburban I should have no problems with the truck.

No it just keeps making the funny sound like when it is moving the cd's around.

I tried to google youtube videos. Several suggested banging on the top of the radio which I did. Another youtube video suggested sticking tape on a credit card and try pulling it out that way. I haven't had a chance to do the later. I know I have a 6 cd disk but I think only one is currently...

I think it is a 6 disk. What is HU?

I haven't tried yet partly because I do not know how to unplug the battery back in afterwards.:(

I still need to test drive them so until I do a test drive(s). I haven't made my final decision. Plus I am comparing them (Colorado and Silverado).

I don't tow or transport heavy trailors like you guys do. :p So I think that the Colorado would be a great choice for me. Though I will still test drive a Silverado. :D

I will try test drive both. I just can't afford the Silverado otherwise I would probably go for that one. I could lease the Colorado and then lease the Silverado when my lease is up. I have until the end of this year to make my decision since I want to wait until Dec./Jan to lease the truck.

This one was an older verison that I got into.

I got picked up by an Uber driver in a GMC Acadia and it had very little room in the back for cargo. I've always wanted a truck so I will lease this one out and may later decide on a Silverado (if it is needed). But the cost of gas is also my main concern if I were to buy a Silverado. I...

They are not meant for a tall person with long legs. Plus I wouldn't be able to see over big trucks. I want to be up high to see anything that is out of my normal viewing.
