Thanks for the update. At the ratio you are running I dont think you will ever find anything out of the ordinary.... except maybe your fuel pump loving you more then normal.
I agree with drperry. I've seen a ton of LLY & LB7 engines with 150K+ with no problems at all. My own LB7 is at 103K right now, factory IP and injectors. Just because there is a warranty extention, doesnt mean they will have problems.
I dont know how many folks on here get Diesel Power Magazine but they did a great article on different fuel additives and each ones results.

:uhoh: Try that some time and let me know.....
On a gasoline engine, I completely agree. On a Diesel engine designed to run on LSD, it does give lubricating benefits. On a ULSD truck, your asking for trouble.
I really think they shot themselves in the foot by dumping their diesel engine & 3/4 + 1 ton truck programs. They just cant compete without heavy duty work trucks.
My appoligies for being so vague Michael. I didnt mean that they dont work, they do work well, and are a nice system to have. All I meant is they aren't as accurate as a quality digital guage.
In my experience Michael those systems are like the fuel economy system on most new vehicles. They are great at giving you a rough idea, but are not always accurate. Also, as they get older, they get less and less accurate. Like the Michelin commercial says; 'because so much is riding on your...
So my 03' cracking 100K got me thinking. Who here has (and currently owns) the highest mileage truck? And what is the mileage? Anyone over 500K? 600K? or higher?
My 97' just turned 145K & My 85' is at 168K so it is my highest mileage vehicle.

Looking at them is not a good way of judging pressure. I've seen tires down 10PSI that looked fine. Nothing beats a quality tire presure guage. Be safe out there.
Alright guys its getting cold out now and air constricts as it gets cold, so the pressure will normally drop. Be safe out there and make sure your pressures are up to snuff.
At minimum, check your pressures once a month.

Plus I change the fuel filters. Put the winter fronts on (diesels) when it gets below freezing. Run power cords outside for the block heaters. Air up the tires. Throw a blanket, set of gloves, and an ice scraper inside, and make sure the glow plugs work.
I am not a fan of increasing wheel sizes, unless its to fit larger brakes. Wheels weigh A LOT more then tires so increasing them even one size requires a lot of addition energy to make them start to rotate (fuel) and more energy to stop (brakes) there rotation. Plus, I love the look of the...
You'll do great Clancy, they made a good choice with you.
I'm doing ok. Been working A LOT so I havent been online much lately. Got lots of things to do before the snow starts flying. Never enough hours in the day it seems. Hows life treating you?
