OK. I had to replace the passenger side mirror cap. It found it's way to the side of the garage door and broke the tabs that hold it on so I had to get a new one. So I did a little video on how they come off. Not easy like the K2's. You have to take the mirror apart to get the cap off.
No pictures due to the fact that my hands were a little messy with gear oil. Man that stuff smells nasty.
So lets start with changing the front diff oil. You need a 13mm to remove the four bolts that hold up the cover over the front diff. I would imagine it would be different if you have a...
Nothing wrong with Dexcool. I changed over to AMSOIL's coolant. One because it is ecofriendly so if it did spill no harm to our furry friends. Plus I use what I sell. Not saying you have to.
So for now my 2002 Silverado has AMSOIL coolant as does my 2014 Cruze diesel. When this summer...
I guess I can start a wheel thread. But considering what I paid for the truck and so far, bed cover, tint, CAI and side steps. My funds are a little low right now. LOL
I added some footwell lighting. Only thing is I can't find the power source that is with the dome lights. So now what I have hooked up is to a power that comes on when I start the truck and goes off when I stop and open the door. Will post pictures soon.
Well I removed the chrome 6.2L from the hood and installed the black chrome. I think it looks much better. Still undecied on putting the black chrome Silverado on the tailgate. I have two Duramax black chrome if anyone is interested. $30 shipped.
I also took the Chevrolet shade that came...
Loving it. Going from a 2002 to this thing is a major improvement. Super quiet inside, rides way better. It has a nice solid feel and of course the power of the 6.2 mated to the 10sp is "totaly rad". :willy:
I'll be taking it out this coming week to visit my daughter at ECU which is an hour...
Yeah, that was a short life for sure. I'm wondering how long the starter will last in my new truck with auto start/stop. I have not turned it off, doesn't seem to bother me. I guess time will tell and the cost will be high since it isn't your every day run of the mill starter I would think.
Yep, standard 6.6' bed.
Guys have already put 35's on with a level kit and no rubbing.
Your camaro doesn't have true duals? My 2013 did, no crushed pipe underneath. Even had an X pipe.
This cross over tube is smashed pretty good. I'm sure it doesn't do any favors to performance.
This is the bottom of the side review mirror. There is a camera there and an LED courtesy light.
I'm behind the drivers seat and I have it back where I sit comfortable. I'm 6'. You can...
