OK I need to get pictures I know. I did wash, Clayed with the new Mother's Speed Clay 2.0 which is really cool and easy to use. Then put a nice coat of Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine. That stuff is great. You can put it on everything. No white stuff to worry about. YouTube video's show it...
Well today I changed out the transmission filter on the 2016 Suburban. It has 54k miles on it. What a PITA it was to get the pan off. No clearence at all between the exhaust and the pan. I had to take down the exhaust at the manifolds to get it out. How others are doing it without doing...
It is AMSOIL's ATL. I put it in when I bought the truck new back in 2002. Considering the amount of towing I have been doing and my transmission temp getting up to 198 degrees when towing. I think the fluid did well. Can't wait to get the UOA back to see how well it held up. The magnet had...
Just changed out the transmission filter on y 2002 Silverado. It had 102k miles on it. I'm sending a sample of the fluid off to Dysonanalysis to see how well it did. Here is a picture of the pan when I dropped it down. Looks pretty good for 102k miles on it and been towing a 4k lbs trailer...
Did you check to see if AMSOIL has a universal air filter that might work? Also Wix XP is a great filter if you are not running AMSOIL's oil filter. It is a synthetic media filter. Also when they are on sale, which around here they are now get a NAPA Platinum or Gold filter. They are also...
It just amazes me at the amount of crap that it collects. I wonder how clogged your AC system is if there isn't a filter to catch it? Makes one wonder.
Since cabin air filters are a forgotten item most of the time. I'm guilty. I figured maybe a little spot on the forum to post up some of the nasty ones. Here is my 2002 Silverado filters. I just checked and these have been in there for 2 years and 26 days and have 17,699 miles on them. I...

I had to break up some concrete sidewalk. Man the electric jack hammer I rented made short work of it. I started by using a sledge hammer, that would have taken me all day at best. I had it all done in 30 minutes and was only out $70. Had to make two trips to the concrete plant to drop off...
Sucks to have all these issues. One would think that a better product would be out to rectify this with all the Dmax's on the road. Sorry to hear. How was SC? You were about 30 miles from my house as you went down I-95. :)
I would go with AMSOIL Signature Series oil. As for the filter again AMSOIL. I think they just came out with one for your Jeep. Ea15k19
It is looking great. Small changes helps the wallet.

Yes, most forget about the transmission when it comes time for service. It is best to keep that fluid fresh just like any other fluid. On new vehicles keep it changed out every 50k miles with a quality synthetic and you will not have any issues for a long time. At least non that are fluid...

To me it is for those that tow for a living. Rear diff temps can get crazy if you haul/tow heavy loads, especially up steep grades. Not a bad thing to have and a cool gauge to add.
