I found this on jegs. They might have the same one on amazon.

It's cheaper because they don't pay gm for the license. If you look on the Amsoil site it says "recommended for use in applications specifying Dexron 6"
Dexron III is the same way that there is no license for it. You can run Dexron III in any gm trans an it wil shift just fine. Only difference...
Scotty - the forward cats on the xterra are bolt in.
Nick - I talked to a mechanic friend of mine at work about it a few weeks ago. I'm not 100% sure. On the xterra they typically go out around 80k miles. Mine went out at 84k. I had it replaced about a year later had it replaced again under...
Are y'all mocking me with the :(!?
Seriously though, I've had good luck with magnaflow in the past so I think I'm going with one of those. $500 for OEM Nissan WITH a discount.

Yup it seems to be just as thick as the OEM pan I took off. If not using the drain plug hole you could just get a pipe collar, drill a hole in the side or something and weld it in.

You could drill a hole in it but I'd put the probe where the drain plug goes. Less likely to leak. I was actually thinking about moving mine there, right now it's in the test port. Here pic of the pan installed on my truck.

The brand I bought was Dorman. Price has gone up a few dollars since I got mine. I also got the deep pan filter on the also pn 24208576.

You shouldn't have a problem with it as long it meets the spec which I'm sure it dose. Before I used the ac delco I noticed the gasket that came with the other one would eventually crack. My trans has never shifted any different since the day I put it in. Regardless of what filter I used...
Did you go back with an ac delco filter/gasket? I only ask because that's what I used the last time I did mine. Quality was top notch.
You also might look into get a pan with a drain plug. A lot less mess. I was able to get one for mine of of amazon for around $45 with shipping and it holds...
Just finished installing new brake booster. No more constant hiss. Pedal is still a little soft so I think I'm going to bleed the brakes. But not today lol.

just got on the PC and yes the vid quality sucks.
From what i read about exhaust leaks is that if its after the cats it wont have any effect on codes or emissions.
Well I'm not really sure which it is. I know the o2s will fluctuate back and forth between rich and lean.
I bought a new clamp for the post cat leak.
No worries Jim I figure it's the weekend and most are probably doing their own projects, partying, or just trying to enjoy their weekend...
Ok so I found an exhaust leak but it's after the cats and before the muffler. Also a missing nut on the front flange of the driver side cat. I can't feel a leak there e though.

Ok so I've had this issue for about 2 years. Oem cat broke apart and was replaced at a shop. Was fine for almost a year then the code popped up again. Which was replaced again under Warrenty.
Last year when it was time for inspection I was able to clear the code and drive around in 2nd gear...
I'm getting OEM Nissan blades today. Cheaper than aftermarket and after they wear out Nissan sells refills that actually work and are not cheap crap.
Things like this make me happy. I know it's weird. lol
