I have a 2006 Silverado and the darn abs light would go on every time I made a left turn. I figured that it was either a bad sensor or possibly the hub. I took the wheel off and found that the connection had broken loose from the hub. I zipped tied it back on and everything has been working fine...
Just did the change over today. Took about 30 minutes and all is well. I cleared the codes and they haven't come back on. By the way, I just changed the same part for the same part. It was cheaper and I figured that if it goes bad once every 50k miles, I will still come out ahead.
