Yup its a chore. My bezel falling off all the time was kind of annoying. I would have taped it up but that would have been to easy.

What stuff i did have up there was always sliding off. I think having the cubby hole would prevent this. Also parts for my truck are starting to get harder to find so i had to take the opportunity.

The old one had several cracks in it. Cup holders are never used. The air bag delete is a cubby hole. What do mean exactly? Also this one with the bezel was already on the ground so i didn't have to pull it.
I made more progress today. I got the old dash out and tore down. Now just need to...
Ever since I got this truck back in 2008 the instrument cluster bezel has never wanted to stay put thanks to
my brother that got pissed one day when working on it and hit the dash. I've wanted to replace for a while
but I hadn't found what i wanted until today. I was looking at craigslist...

Yes I think it was/is worth every penny. Now i don't have to worry about the tranny fluid for at least 50k miles.
I've wanted a drain plug on this trans since i started servicing it a few years ago. This is the 3rd time total second time servicing since the overhaul. The extra 2 quarts is just...
Re: Goodies for Tomorrow
I just did a search on google. And this one came up. Its acually the stock replacment for some of the 4wd 4L60e transmissions. From what i read about it LOTS of people had issues removing the drain plug on the stock pan due to a major screw up of using super lock...
Re: Goodies for Tomorrow

Yes they are. However from what I read about them it wears of with use. The small set that I've had for a while has diminished slightly. But as cheap as they were $30 for the 3/8 shallows thats no biggie.
I ordered some more tools last week and they showed up today. This time it sockets, you can never have to many.
Here they are Grey Pneumatic impact socket sets:
1/2in dr 12pt shallows 3/8 - 1 1/2.
3/8in dr 12pt deep 5/16 - 1in
3/8in dr 12pt universals 5/16 to 1in.
The set on the far left...

Ok I called amsoil. This was a few days ago but I remember him saying something about a setting in my phones browser. I checked it and it's fine. He had no other ideas. Looks like I'm just going to have to keep using the full webpage.

Well I got it all done finally late last night. I have all the pics on my job camera I'll upload and post em up this PM. I got every thing except the flush set up and flush itself. Now I got to do this to the '96 as well as replace both oil cooler lines.
