A couple pics from the Antique bike show I was at today. This is an Indian inline four. The bike was incredibly well down.
This is my buddies 1965 BSA Chopper that he rescued. Today was the first time he had it out since he got it running again.
Here are some pics of the pipes. I dont have the header wrap on yet. I will do that when I get back to maine. You can also see the crash bars that I repainted. I am happy how they came out.
It burned off pretty evenly. I found a spot further down the pipes today that burned off a little. It is where the pipes start coming together. My guess is that it was shot a little thin there.
I was pissed the stuff burned right off. I think it is because the pipes are not double rolled like factory pipes. The header wrap will look good though.
I got the exhaust back. The first 5-6 inch's burned off almost immediately. They looked good. I am going to pull them off and wrap them. I have some titanium header wrap. I will post pics when I get a camera. The wife has ours in maine. I also painted the crash bars. I will update with pics when...
Nice pics lee. I bet you are looking forward to getting some bigger sneakers on that thing. When you said you got stuck I figured you got high centered. :lol:
