Because their fathers and uncles put SBC's in everything and they don't know any better. The engine in that car light, small and easily modified. If consider putting a Chevy V8 in a nissan an easy modification. For the price of the engine sway you could make that car faster than with a factory...

They make twin turbo setups for those cars. Why put an engine out of a different brand in your car. That never made sense to me.
