To little, to late. Dodge tried already and it bombed. Until it is affordable and sitting on the lot ready for a impulse purchaser it won't catch on.

What a sweet truck!! There is no truck bed in that kind of condition anywhere in New England. You have a excellent starting point.
It would look sweet with the white two tone like it had in the old pic. Very cool project.

I know where there is one sitting in the bushes. I will ask the guy that owns it. What weather stripping? I'm sure it is all dry rotted by now.

Very sweet ride
I don't know why but I like the clear coolant hose. I've never seen that before. Lots of cool little details. It's the type of truck you can walk around 20 minutes and not see all the small touches.
Let us know how much it goes for.

I would try to find a 4wd and take some measurements. I wouldn't take a piece off the truck until you know the frames are the same. Don't go by people's word, the tape measure does not lie.

It sounds very involved but with a good donor truck it's a lot like playing parts swap. The is if the frames are the same. I have done a 2-4 wheel drive conversion with a friend. The difference was he had a leaf spring front end. Try to use as many factory parts as possible. Gabbing takes a lot...
Have you looked into any kid of electronic power adders, like a programmer or chip? lol
With the intake and exhaust you might seem some power gain out of larger lol injectors.

I prefer the current body style. Of course the first preview models are always way shinier in the pics than on the lot. They def are getting out of control with the grill size but the truck could be a lot worse.
Maybe I will wait for the 2015 to hit the lot then buy a left-over 13-14 for 15g...
My experience comes from dealing with fords but I would not think GM's are much different.
I have found that the dually rear ends are more narrow than single wheel. I believe if you just bolt a spindle and hub on it is going to be wicked wide. Have you taken any measurements off a dually truck...
