Minor update. Taking longer the expected, but they are now being machined out of aluminum. $8 each. 8 total. $64 for custom aluminum drop link/sway arm bushings...I'd say I lucked out. IF they ever get made.
I finally found my "roundtoit"() and ordered mine today.
Don't have high flows yet, but I figured I'd get 'em now try 'em out for the hell of it. Even if they don't get rid of the CEL they will be ready to put a new exhaust around them.:D
Working in commercial construction most guys treat theses as disposable. You'd see them shit canned all the time. The bulbs pop and sometimes it's easier to buy a set with several sets of bulbs included paying a few extra $ for the assembly as opposed to new bulbs. :dunno:
If you are having THAT much trouble after changing the chord end and bulbs then the set must be a POS. Get a new one.

It's the actual chord for the light Jeff. I would think even when "cheaping out" manufacturers would at least use 14 AWG (as you said). :dunno:
I have an 18 AWG extension chord I use for my cheap ass electric weed eater and hedge trimmer otherwise I'm with you on the 12 and 10 (when needed)...
You would think MSD would admit and address the problem. I always thought them to be a good company for aftermarket spark needs.:dunno:
I personally like Accel but, still them and Mallory are what I thought the top 3 are.
Can't say as I blame you. If I had to replace ONE tire right now my truck would be parked and I would probably be jobless.:(
I know he got like 70,000 with 1/4 - 1/2 tread left on one set he had before he got rid of the truck they were on. It's just coming up with the scratch to do it. :ohnoes:
No shiz. They help with the urge to "NEED" to do something to your truck , but you have limited funds.:(
Yeah it was a PITA dealing with those big honkin' tires and all but, am glad I finally (after a year) of wanting to do it, just pulled the trigger. Don't know how you have gone all...
My best friend has had BFG ATs on almost every truck he has ever owned and swears by them.
I have Toyos and YES pricey as hell. Mine are $465 per. Tax title mounted out the door. They went up $100 in less then a year. :fume:
Looks like the problem will be solved in the near future. A local mechanic I have befriended knows a guy that turns out custom bushings. $5 each for the poly(what the fwonk ever) and more for brass.
I'll take the truck in early one morning we'll take the bushings out and have him custom make...
Here are the brake calipers, brackets and rotors:
Hard to see but, I painted the retention clips and the back of the pad facing out to offset the opposite colors respectively.
Small note. IF you don't mask off as good as you SHOULD and get a little over spray on the rotor pad surface it...
So lately I have been semi bored with not having the cash to upgrade parts I want on the truck. :( So I decided to give a few areas a face lift.
Here are the before and afters on the rims:
I should have taken a little more time in surface prep and sanding between primer...
I'm sure it's best to check further as laws have a tendency to change but, here is a useful guide you might consider:

Also speaking with other lifted truck drivers (in Florida anyway) you can take your truck and have it re weighed then issued a new weight...
