Ya I would think if it was clips or something the instructions would say so.
The old is fwonked anyway and it's plastic so I REALLY don't think I can mess up the metal part by prying. Just wanted to confirm. Like I said this project has been a REAL PITA!!! Murphy was working OVER TIME on this...
I just did. LOL
I just got the cable Fed Ex and am looking at it and it does look like you just pry the old off and pop the new on. We shall see. The instructions only show how to assemble the two halves.
So along with ALL THE OTHER fWONkIN' PROBLEMS I've had with and surrounding my transmission rebuild/replacement I crushed the end of the shift cable because I :quote: didn't need to wire it up out of the way:quote:

Just bought a set of these too:
Rough Country 1144 Heavy-Duty Tie Rod Sleeve - Pair : Amazon.com : Automotive

Got my inner/outer tie rod ends ordered along with my stabilizer links and bushings. :fingertime::wookie:
Thanks to Rock Auto the majority of my front is now Moog shipped WAY cheaper then locally even WITH OUT the discount.
