    Ya I would think if it was clips or something the instructions would say so. The old is fwonked anyway and it's plastic so I REALLY don't think I can mess up the metal part by prying.     I just did. LOL I just got the cable Fed Ex and am looking at it and it does look like you just pry the old off and pop the new on. We shall see. The instructions only show how to assemble the two halves.

    My '02 Silverado with a 4L60E tans has aprox 205,000 miles on it. I got it at around 140,000 (ish) miles 3 1/2 years ago. Prior to me buying it it was rebuilt ( I was given the receipt for proof). Around a year after getting it I had the fluid and filter serviced by a reputable transmission...
