My sister and her husband just bought a new 2008 Silverado 1500 4X4 with 17K miles on it, V8, not sure what size engine, but it does have the tow package, and leveling switch, (what does that do?), any insight would be appr. like things to look out for, known problem's, or anything like that.

You should be ok, I'm running 35", on a 3" body lift, and I only had to trim about an inch, off the corner of my lower valance...

I have actually owned retreads, they were studded snow tire's, and I ran them for 4 seasons, with out any issues, I sold the pickup truck, and let the tire's go with it. They just don't fly apart either, you will get a warning before they go, in the trucking world, recap's were a money saver, I...

I had the same issue with picking the clutch for my Mustang GT, ended up getting the Ford Racing stage 1 clutch, was cheaper than center force, with the same spec's...might want to look at them...my 2 cents
