Power wagon starts at $45k. With the only two options i really want added (sun roof and remote start) it turns into a $48k+ truck.
An SLT equipped the way i'd want it (4.10s, LS rear, sunroof which makes you get some upgraded tech package, and remote start) puts MSRP...
Not to mention that if you're running 9+ of lift with probably 38" tires, a properly done SAS will hold an alignment and be more reliable than ANY 1500 series suspension lift.
I think its very possible that the person you were talking to didn't really know a lot about what they were talking...
Plus its a 1500 series.
I think i've got my sights set on a 2500 CCSB. Depending on prices at the time and whether im going used or new, the highest end model i'll be looking at is a TRX4. Don't want too many bells & whistles in my next one... keep the interior a bit more basic.
Check these out. First one is a 3.5" lift.... PERFECT. I know what my next truck is going to look like (it just needs some Storm Trooper Treatment):thumbs:

Yeah im not a huge fan of single dins either... i'd like to make it look somewhat OEM, but if options are limited i know i can make it look nice with the right installation kit.
I've been out of the audio game waaaaaay too long. (well, only about 7-8 years). I've installed plenty of stereos and sound systems so I know what i'm doing... but i haven't shopped for a head unit since before my silverado.
I'd like to get my wife a head unit that either has a bluetooth...
There ARE camber/caster adjustments on some solid axles. I can't remember all of them off the top of my head, but it's basically a sleeve... looks like this:
For 12" of lift... SAS is the way to go.
Install was easy. There's nothing "difficult" about it... just time consuming. A good floor jack and 4x4 is all you need, you just lift one side at a time.

lower temp = lower pressure
With tires, lower pressure = lower volume
lower volume = higher pressure
So with that in mind... i guess Jim isn't completely crazy :lol:. I haven't messed with enough car tires side by side truck tires to compare... when we had a car it was always...
Nitrogen will change with temp too.... lol its a law.
Giving Jim benefit of the doubt. ... it could be because tire volume is not constant... and pressure will change with volume. As volume decreases pressure increases. The smaller volume tires probably have a higher percentage volume loss...
