    Ground loop

You shouldn't ever *have to* use a noise filter, IMO. If your wiring and connections all check out, you might just have a defective amp or headunit. Does your headunit or amp use the cheap RCA jacks that are supported solely by the circuit boards that they are soldered to? If so, the solder...

    Quick and stupid question

I went ahead and used 93, it was fine. Brian (the tuner, not :brain:) got back to me and mentioned that 87 would be okay, but I would only see max gains with higher octane or a colder thermostat.

    Stereo cutting out?

Yeah, but that's not causing your cutting out problem if that's what you're getting at. If the headunit slides in and out while the mounting cage stays in place, take the headunit out and bend the two large tabs on each side inwards. That will lock the headunit in place then. Also, since you're...

    Quick and stupid question

Hmmm, well now that I look at the eBay page again, it really doesn't state that 91+ octane is absolutely required. In fact, he mentions running 87 octane with the *recommended* (keyword?) 170 degree thermostat...

    Quick and stupid question

My tune requires 91 or higher octane gas. I have about half a tank of 87 octane left, if I fill it with 93, will I be okay? Reason I ask is because I just got a Hot Chip from www.tbichips.com today. It requires me to use 91+ octane with the stock 195 thermostat, or I can run 87 with a colder...

    Stereo cutting out?

If your ground is good, you may have a bad speaker that is causing your headunit problems when it's turned up.

    Remove Rear Speakers, 93 GMC??

That's really the only easy and sensible way to replace them. Some people have actually replaced them with 6x9 speakers: http://www.gmtruckcentral.com/articles/rear6x9.html

    Remove Rear Speakers, 93 GMC??

If you do have to replace those speakers, my advice is DON'T, just leave them be and fade to the front speakers. Like BHB said, you will have to remove all of the rear panels, and in the process you will probably break a lot of clips. Also, it's only 4x6 speakers back there, NO 4x6 speaker will...

    Door Speakers

+1 IMO, in crew cabs the rear speakers should be almost inaudible to the people sitting in front. They should be completely disabled in most extended and all regular cabs.
