If your ground is good, you may have a bad speaker that is causing your headunit problems when it's turned up.

If you do have to replace those speakers, my advice is DON'T, just leave them be and fade to the front speakers. Like BHB said, you will have to remove all of the rear panels, and in the process you will probably break a lot of clips. Also, it's only 4x6 speakers back there, NO 4x6 speaker will...

+1 IMO, in crew cabs the rear speakers should be almost inaudible to the people sitting in front. They should be completely disabled in most extended and all regular cabs.
