You're right,this CB just isn't worth the trouble or the expense.I'll check CL,yard sales and swap meets.If I was going to be using it a lot I'd buy a new one but I just mainly use it when off-roading to chat with other trucks. There sure are some nice new ones out there though :jester:

I have an old Cobra XLR that will receive but won't transmit.The mod light doesn't light up,but the needle on the meter will move when keying the mic.I'm thinking of getting it fixed but not sure if it's worth it. Watcha think?

Loaded it up with tools I thought I'd need to go help my grandson-in-law do some work on the RV I sold him a couple of years ago.Need to set the timing,etc. to get it ready to get smogged.
