My buddy has the 3500 HO single axle. Took him 9 months to get it from the factory. Dude, you have the best year GM HD, I sure wish you could make it work!

    Intercooler pipe

Holy shit, man! I have been MIA, and just saw this. I am shocked. So sorry you had this issue. We did a Montana trip, loaded heavier than ever. We are now in the middle of a decision of 2 extremes; either we are going to get an even bigger 5th wheel, OR we are going to get a HOST slide...

Measuring the Output of a 300 amp Alternator

You can only measure the current that the alternator is putting out, as it is demanded. You cannot measure what is going to each battery unless they are mechanically isolated, and you have a CT (current transformer) on each line from the isolator.

    Rear Differential Temp Gauge

It is really not something you need to worry about in a half ton, or even towing with a HD. They were VERY common in the 80s and 90s in class 8 on-highway trucks. I know this well, I spent 14 years at a Volvo heavy truck dealer as a tech repairing those damn diff temp senders, LOL. I have...

    Storing Tires

After I get my garage squared away, I am going to build a rack to hold them upright, out of 2x4s, as high as I can get them. I don't think it will hurt them. Have never heard not to do it this way

    Fuel Economy

Yeah, no kidding! Even my 3/4 ton 6.0 with 34s on it got 13 in mixed driving. I don't think I averaged better than 10 or 11 with any half ton, and a small block. And a lot less power to add insult to injury

Looking for someone to help me with a few questions on my Sbc build

Man, you are making me feel my age. The last stroker engine i assembled was in 1999. I have probably forgotten way too much about small block builds, but one thing I do remember is that starting off with a block bored .080" is a no-no.

To deal with wheel well liners

It's all about the prep. Clean it with lacquer thinner, and then scuff it up with Scotch Brite or sand paper. The 3M stuff goes on thicker than the bargain shit. The other thing you could do is use spray on bed liner, the stuff in cans
