    Worked on it all day today and it's all together and ready to go in the frame. Special thanks go to my amigo Chuck for his help :thumbs: Holding the crank so I can pull the left case onto the crankshaft Homemade tool for pulling the left crankcase onto the crank(store bought ones...

    Have you checked the sealing surface on the head itself? May be a little piece of metal missing :dunno:

    Found a trans on eBay & bought it. Honda CR85 CR80 Transmission Gears Tranny Trans Main Counter Shaft 2 1996 2007 | eBay Should get it sat. or so.... Also ordered a complete gasket set from our local Honda shop.

    So far the tally is three gears & one bearing :( The shift forks(3)are OK,the pieces I thought were shift forks were actually parts of a gear.

    Like my homemade crankshaft puller?:lol: Took parts from two of my pullers to make one that will pull the crankshaft & split the cases.Funny looking but it worked. Needed to attach it in three locations to get an even pull.
