Got my truck back today. Service manager called on Saturday and said everything was taken care of.... honestly I think the issue was with the GM CPO warranty reps. They were tough to get a hold of, and their responses seemed to be canned.
Agree 1000x
The service manager has seemingly been really good so far. So I forwarded him that response and am waiting his feedback . Either he's bullshitting me, or the CPO rep is. Either way I'm going to make someone give me a solid explanation in writing before this is done. And "opinion"...
This e-mail is great.....
That first line makes no sense. So its up to the service manager (who is also the CE manager btw) to determine whether its covered? But this same dude is saying that its not on the "list" of whats covered based on the PN.
That right there makes me angry enough...
This'll be like that movie where you see the ending first, then get the story. Just need to vent.
Just got a call from the service department that has my Yukon, and after talking to the GM CPO rep, they confirmed my heating actuator is not covered under warranty. I didnt ask for...
Just making sure you didn't revert back to the mindset of 15 years ago when fancy keys had magical powers :rollin:
All good man
FWIW, i measured mine yesterday and I still have 2" of full droop from my current ride height (cranked 1"). I'm hoping I don't need to go over 1/2" more to...
The ride quality has nothing to do with which keys you use. All the indexing means is that you're using the installation tool to preload the bars first (just like cranking them with the stock keys), so that at the lowest height with the new keys is equivalent to cranked on the stock keys. Then...
Which unloader tool did you buy? There's a few on Amazon for pretty cheap. I have a green key leftover from my 2005 1500 that I may throw in the driver side of my 2500 to bring the front up a bit. Got about 1" from my stock keys, still have some thread left on the passenger side by drivers side...
I am really looking forward to some camping. My kids have a lot of energy and love being outside.... It's going to be a blast!
May even rent one this fall to try it out the size I think I want to buy, do a long weekend somewhere in the mountains and get some hiking in with the leaves changing...
Lol you sound like my wife!!! You should've seen the travel trailers she was looking at... I had to remind her we got the 2500 so we have SOME buffer, I don't like towing at max capacity  :willy:
Thanks! So far I'm loving it and really happy I got the CPO (except now the lift will wait a bit). One of the headlights have moisture in it, so I'll get that taken care of at my first free oil change. Gonna find every quirk I can while I have the bumper to bumper coverage! :D
Where's :dan: when I need him?? Maybe some PS skills are in order. I'll get some better pics of the truck Friday, right now I only have the screen shots I snagged before it was taken off the web
I hear ya. I've actually been having trouble finding wheels I like for the Yukon... It's not as aggressive looking of a vehicle as the Suburban so I'd like to find something that doesn't give it an identity crisis. ... it'd gotta say "ok I'm not going mud bogging or rock crawling, but I'll get...
I hope so too! I feel better that it's a CPO vehicle... generally they wouldn't certify something that isn't in good shape. It comes with a 12month 12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and an additional year on top of the manufacturers drivetrain warranty.
Should I start my wheel thread...
Truck was very clean underneath, price was right, matched best finance rate my bank would give me, and sales associate seemed like a good guy... put a deposit down!
Going to pick up my GMC Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Yukon XL 2500 4x4 SLT on Sunday. Wish I had the cooled seats today, it's...
 that's what I'm worried about. They're putting the truck up on a lift today and taking pictures of the undercarriage for me. If it looks nice, I may have to make the 7 hr drive to see/buy it
