Only way to save this block (Not to mention all the work I did on it so far) is to get rid of all the weak-ass cast-iron threads and install stainless steel threads .. .. Helicoils here we come !!

Thought it would be a good idea to have a oil temp gauge onboard ... Not wanting to mount it on/under the dash cause it's looking way too busy already ... Found one made for motorcycles .. It'll be mounted inside the glovebox .. Also uped the oil cooler some .. Bigger might be better...

Installing a oil cooler is going good .. Using a GM adapter, it looks to be designed well with a built in thermostat .. Hasn't found a cooler just yet ... Do think I'll have a nice spot under the radiator to mount it .. We'll see what I'll come up with in that department .. Do like this...
